Empty block postcard
Empty block postcard pattern I designed on EQ6 design program. It was a bit challenging for me to piece since paper piecing is new to me but from far away you can really see the illusion. The block was designed postcard size 4" X 6". I posted a PDF of the free empty block pattern on Quilt Concepts. If you make it let me know what you think.
Neutral and Whirl Paper Pieced Postcards
I made these for the neutral exchange for postcard pizzazz- They were the most difficult for me to finish- not accustomed to working in blacks, grays and whites.

Bugs Life Fabric Postcards
Bugs Life Fabric Postcards- I am totally into paper piecing. Learned it at Martha Pullen Market last month. It is like a horrible addiction....
This is my first paper pattern design, it was designed using EQ6 program. I designed the block in the block draw feature. The pattern is of two jars filled with bugs. Working on samples jars of fruit and veggies and a few candy jar quilter trading cards to swap in Houston at the Quilt Show in October. Will post photos of those later when they are finished.
Winged Things A Series of Fabric Postcards
Made this series to exchange with Postmarked Art group. Each postcard is different but they are all made with the same basic materials. The base of the postcards is a bright aqua batik with a green butterfly free motion stitched. The next layers are either a butterfly on a white sheer fabric or a butterfly on dark blue sheer fabric. Then dragon fly stencils were added. The back has a little girl pixi stenciled on it.
Gold and Silver QTC-Quilters Trading Cards
Made to trade with pizzazz group. They are much prettier in person. The reflection from the gold/silver does not take pretty photos.
Fiber Fusion Postcards
Silk fiber fusion postcards made to exchange with group #52.
I purchased several different color and a small Silk Fusion Started Kit from a Canadian company that was at the Houston Quilt Show.

Recycled Soda Cans - Fabric Postcard Art
"Zero Calorie Quilting"
A series of three fabric postcards made from recycled soda and juice cans. These postcards are really fun to make and a great way to recycle old soda, juice and power drink cans. When looking for cans to use I looked for colorful ones with different designs. You just have to be careful when cutting the soda cans.

Sew Green- Recycled Soda Can Fabric Postcard
Zero Calories Fabric Postcard - Finally an addiction that is actually good for you...Fabric Postcards. I guarantee that you can't make just one of them, but not to worry these fabric postcards have no calories, no fat, no carbs.
This fabric postcard was made from a Diet Rite Soda can, batik bubble fabric (thought it looked like carbonation) vintage buttons and scrap of fancy yarn for that little extra pizzazz.
This was super easy to make. All you need are some recycled materials, fast-2-fuse, soda can, buttons, threads and sewing machine (but you can hand sew if you like.)
Earth Day Fabric Postcards
Earth Day 2008 fabric postcards were made to exchange with three friends. Each postcard is a little different but all three were made from the same fabrics. The base of the postcard is a wood textured fabric layered with a scenic fabric cut into different shapes then stitched on. Each card also has hot fix crystals to make them shine a bit.
