Empty block postcard

Empty block postcard pattern I designed on EQ6 design program. It was a bit challenging for me to piece since paper piecing is new to me but from far away you can really see the illusion. The block was designed postcard size 4" X 6". I posted a PDF of the free empty block pattern on Quilt Concepts. If you make it let me know what you think.

What color am I today- Red

Red fiber book page I made after the "green" page. It represents being in the
hot sun from gardening. These are part of the collaborative effort at postcard pizzazz.

Baby bunnies in my garden

The babies are so tiny tiny that look like hamsters with ears.

Help in my garden- Texas Toad

While gardening yesterday I could hear something moving around in my
wagon. I was afraid one of the baby birds landed in there and could not get out. How cool is that?

Ants in my garden small art quilt

This quilt was inspired by an ant attack in my garden- those buggers really got me good!

Neutral and Whirl Paper Pieced Postcards

I made these for the neutral exchange for postcard pizzazz- They were the most difficult for me to finish- not accustomed to working in blacks, grays and whites.
Posting the free paper piecing patterns on my new site QuiltConcepts.com as I get them make into PDF's

Even The BUGS in Texas are bigger.

This huge bug was on the side of our compost bin. He was dark chocolate brown, lime green and grass green. Really beautiful.

This huge grasshopper was on the outside window, it was almost 3 inches long. I tried to go outside to take some better photo's but it flew away.
